These Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sliders are easy, cheesy, and packed with bold Buffalo flavor. Shredded chicken is tossed with tangy Buffalo hot sauce and ranch dressing, layered with melted cheese on soft slider buns, and finished with a flavorful garlic butter topping. They’re perfect for game day, parties, quick lunches, or easy weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 9-pack slider buns
  • 1½ cups shredded cooked chicken
  • ½ cup Frank’s Buffalo Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • For the Garlic Butter:
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish that fits the slider buns.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the rolls connected if possible. Place the bottom half in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom buns.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the chicken.
  6. Place the top half of the slider buns over the cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  8. Brush the garlic butter generously over the tops of the slider buns.
  9. Cover the baking dish loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the sliders are heated through.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for another 5–8 minutes, until the tops are golden and slightly crisp.
  11. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes, then separate and serve warm with extra ranch or Buffalo sauce if desired.

Notes

  • Rotisserie chicken is a convenient option and works especially well in this recipe.
  • Adjust the amount of Buffalo hot sauce to make the sliders milder or spicier.
  • Cheddar, Monterey Jack, Colby Jack, or a combination of cheeses can be used.
  • For softer sliders, keep them covered with foil for most of the baking time.
  • For extra-crispy tops, leave the sliders uncovered for the final few minutes.
  • These sliders are best served warm while the cheese is melted and the buns are soft.
